Ray Fisher Calls Joss Whedon Out for 'Abusive Behavior' on Justice League Set

Actor Ray Fisher had spoken up about director Joss Whedon's behavior on the set of the 2017 DC Comic-based team-up superhero film Justice League. Fisher used Twitter as his medium to retract praise about working with Whedon and to accuse him of his behavior.

Fisher claimed that Whedon's behavior was enabled by the former DC president Geoff Johns as well as former co-president of production, Jon Berg.

Justice League is notorious for its under par reputation and a slew of poor reviews due to the clash of co-director Zack Snyder's and Whedon's conflicting tonal approach and interpretation of the source material. The film faced a disappointing loss at the box office and struggles to support itself altogether.

Fisher, who plays Victor "Cyborg" Stone in Justice League, had spoken highly of Whedon during a panel at Comic-Con in 2017. He was accompanied by actor Jason Momoa, who portrays Arthur "Aquaman" Curry in the DC Extended Universe films.

Neither Whedon nor Warner Brothers have released comments or statements in regards to Fisher's accusations. Berg had denied the claims that the Cyborg actor had made, telling Variety that “categorically untrue that we enabled any unprofessional behavior.”
