The Twins in 'WandaVision' Could Be [SPOILER]
WandaVision is three episodes deep, and as Marvel's first Disney+ show takes off, it might have confirmed fan predictions.
It's been confirmed that WandaVision is influenced by House of M (2005) and The Vision (2005), there are some fan theories that might come true. In WandaVision, Season One, Episode Three "New in Color," Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) experiences the later stages of her pregnancy that were teased in the episode beforehand.
Besides suspicion mounting around Monica Rambeau (Tenoyah Parris) who is using the name "Geraldine," and neighbors becoming more and more on-edge, the identity of Wanda's twins might have been confirmed. During a scene between Wanda and Vision building their nursery, Wanda mentions that she'd chosen the name "Tommy" for one of the twins; in which Vision counters that he'd decided on "Billy."
Billy "Wiccan" Kaplan and Tommy "Speed" Shepard are both members of the Young Avengers, which could be the next team that Marvel might choose to assemble. There are other members of the Young Avengers about to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Hailee Steinfeld will play Kate Bishop in Hawkeye (2021-), and Kathryn Newton could be set up to take on the role of Stature as she makes her Marvel debut as Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2022). Newcomer Iman Vellani headlines her Ms. Marvel (2021-) series, where Vellani will carry over into Captain Marvel II (2022), and Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez will make some sort of appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). It has been rumored that Eli "Patriot" Bradley might be featured in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021-), who has been speculated to be played by Elijah Richardson.
From the looks of it, it seems like Marvel's next team is being hidden in plain sight through Phase 4 projects, which could come together for their next big crossover event. As of now, the names of the twins seem to be a dead giveaway as to who these young mutants might turn out to be.
